Responsibilities

Position Summary: To lead in the development and management of the company's system infrastructure and communications technology in order to provide the most efficient support for current operations and future information technology (IT) needs.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the long -term direction of the company’s technology function
  • Directs the strategic design, acquisition, management and implementation of an enterprise wide technology infrastructure
  • Monitors and analyzes technology and trends that could improve the company’s products and performance
  • Heads the process of developing and implementing the IT system for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Defines future requirements and coordinates planning for installing system improvements on the basis of technological developments.
  • Oversees the department budget, staff hiring, training, and supervision.
  • Operates system to support company operations and service in the most efficient manner and modifies infrastructure as needed to give maximum support.
  • Takes action to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and confidentiality of information system.
  • Develops system with provision for continuity of operations during any disaster recovery or other emergency situations.
  • Performs product design and development tasks to support company systems
  • Provides detailed analysis of problems and recommends solutions
  • Applies innovation and creativity to development process and problem-solving

Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MBA preferred but not required.
  • Ten or more years of experience managing an IT department
  • Proficiency in latest technology for IT systems and management
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office and MS Outlook.
